There so many delusional fans here, a guy has a good night against a decent fighter and he became a boxing GOD, is not like he overwhelm Montiel for 12 rounds, he cacht him with a good shot that FM never saw, of course you have to throw it and you have to b fast, but just not get carried away.

Yes I did!! I saw him a couple of times in ESPN! ESB's overrating Gamboa! He's too hittable for an accurate puncher like Donaire!

For the record, Gamboa has half the defensive holes that the man in your avatar has.

Juanma should a superb chin last time out. He seems to be improving every fight and a much steadier pace than Gamboa. Juanma is a very tricky southpaw and he throws tight punches and has a beautiful right hook.

He will be very tuff for Donaire especially if Nonito moves up to fight him in the next year or two years. That would be my #1 fight to see before the world gets hit with a massive solar flare in or around 2013.

    Destruction of BOTH Fighters!!!

Bob Arum don't wanna do that..not just yet. I know he's eyeing Nonito for these fights eventually.

Would love to see Donaire clean out that showbox tournament. Donaire and Montiel did the right thing based on money.

You are a liar, post the clip where Gamboa is hurt, Donaire will not last 6 rounds with either JML or Gamboa, a least not at this moment, he hasn't clean out his own division and you have him koing every one from 122-126lbs, keep dreaming.

I've been to two of his fights live. He is as chinny as a chinese phone book.

Gamboa is very talented. Lightning in a bottle. However he has looked like sh*t after stepping up in competition. and I'm being too kind to the competition that he's stepped up against.

Bob Arum knows this so he's setting up 1 big title shot against Lopez. Nonito, stylewise is ALL wrong for Gamboa.

You could have been his brother for all I care, but if you said that he is been hurt in any of his fight, you are a liar too, and is not a fighter around today that has fought the kind of competition that Gamboas has, in so fewer fights, Nonito was fighting bums until he fought Darchynian, just check his Boxrec.

I'll backtrack a bit..he's chinny, but he hasn't been seriously hurt. Neither has Nonito.

and Gamboa hasn't been fighting bums his whole time in the US?:patsch

Dude, who was the guy that they gave the TKO to Gamboa to protect his KO record? I was AT that fight. Gamboa is a hype job. a good hype job worth watching.

Well, lets be realistic here guys! A fight between Donaire vs either Gamboa or Juanma or even Juanma vs Gamboa won't happen because of Arum! Plain and simple. He would rather pit them against easy winnable fights then pit them against each other. That and the fact that Donaire is still several weight classes below and by the time he reaches 126lbs., Gamboa/Juanma might be at 130 or 135.

i think gamboa is a bit overrated and juan manuel is strong but his ring IQ is not as high as donaires, i wouldn't recommend jumping 2 weight classes without getting your feet wet first.

Dude what tko are you talking about? And Bums? On his first 5 fights these are the guys that he fought
Manvelian 6-1 record (not bad for a debut)
Araik Sachbazjan 7-0 (not bad for encore)
Joel Mayo 40-11 (is looking better now)
Thomas Hengstberger 12-5-2 ( a little bit of a letdown,)
Nestor Hugo Paniagua 17-4 (much better)
Samuel Kebede 25-1 (former african Champ, I think, still not bad for a rookie with only 4 fights under his belt)
Adailton De Jesus 19-2 (17 or 18 ko) one of the phantoms KD.
Actually Gamboa hasn't face a fighter with a losing record,

If you call that a hyped job that is you prerogative, but not many will agree with you, I have to point out that his management hasn't been selective when it comes to slick, power punchers or granite chins fighters, he has take on all comers right from the get go.

And of course this is ND first 5 fights
    Jose Lazaro 1-3-1
    Rosendo Sanchez 2-1
    Saul Santoyo debut
    Jose Luis Torres 0-4-0
Noel Alma debut, should I continue?

Donaire have to take things step by step and after his showdown with the winner of Showtime Bantam clean up the division, Besides Rigondeaux and Vasquez Jr in 122 pound and John,Gamboa and Lopez in 126 pound there are some good Japanese in 118-122-126. Doinaire should fight 3-4 times a year.....
