I didn't think he looked great vs Darchinyan or Vazquez and that's already way back. Also in one of his recent fights against some random guy he looked kinda poor.

Yes, but MG have to make weight and fight against two or three solid opponents...So, let it be by the end of 2017 !

He didn't because he loaded up too much looking for the KO especially against Vic D. Like I said earlier he fell in love with his power instead of just boxing.

I'm pretty sure we will see that fight soon enough. But it's prob gonna have to happen at 135lbs or 140lbs.

From what has been said sofar looks like Team Garcia is gonna try to have this one comeback fight (hopefully win) then immediately attempt a 135lbs championship fight. Probably immediately drop the belt and move to 140lbs.

Seems like a rapid make up for the 2 years move by attempting a 135lbs run to have the multiple belts thing on the resume.

Off topic, but I have to say : M.Garcia is excellent fighter but, he can not do anything against Crawford and Postol. But, against Loma...it would be war...I can not wait...

Depends though if MG signs with Haymon or not which looks like he will, will probably not happen then I feel.

Yeah I think he's too small for those guys.

TC & Postol definitely run the division no doubt about it. The winner of the fight on Sat. Will be in line for some huge paydays.

My prediction : Donaire will stay at 122, ducking Loma (btw and Rigo rematch).
Garcia will successfully make weight (135), accept the challenge and fight Loma.....And only God Almighty knows who will win...

Donaire is too small to make that fight competitive.

    Loma is a big FW/SFW

Donaire was majorly outgunned when he went up to 126

Naa, Lomachenko may have won a decision over Donaire. Lomachenko doesn't have power like that. He is also hittable enough for Donaire to have a punchers chance. That Martinez KO, was anomalous, similar to Devon Alexander KOing Juan Urango.

This. I actually think loma will be better at 130 and 135 than he was at 126 where he was probably weaker because he had to cut so much weight.

I disagree I think he will be stronger and a bigger puncher at 130 because he won't be as drained.

It seems Martinez was having weight troubles. I'd like to see him do it again against a guy like Walters.
