    ...i was impressed as well & malonado's not your average journeyman

    for a guy with 19 fights... he sure dont look like it, does anyone know something about his amateur background???

    no idea about his amateur backround.... all i know is that he was bullied as a child and he almost quit boxing after his first loss... his 2nd pro fight... good thing he got back to boxing.

    He claims he was robbed against Viloria in the Olympic trials. He could have been the 1st pinoy Olympic Gold medalist althou he represents the US.
