is mijares already past his prime considering he is only 27 years old? or maybe he just looked good against arce because of his come forward style..
Based on what? I'm not saying I agree, but I want to see if you make that assumption because you thought it through or because Nonito is from the same country as Pacquiao?
Mijares looks good against a lot of fighters, Navvaro, Munoz, and Arce to name three. All top 10 rated fighters at the time.
Nonito beats both Mijares and Arce in my opinion, but they both last longer than 2 rounds, particularly Mijares.
He actually said that they would take 2 rounds off Donaire at most...which in fact isnt an unreasonable prediction..especially for Arce.
do you really think donaire can KO arce in a single punch...and when you want to KO arce you must be prepared to give and take...Mijares used his skill to beat arce and never really tried to KO arce... donaire, to be impressive must outdo what darchinyan did to arce... as far as mijares goes, i think he is shot and any style of donaire would wear him down...
fukin nuthugging at its very best :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl he couldnt even counter vic... atsch gotta love esb :yep:yep:yep
Mijares is too tricky for Donaire, and Donaire isn't unconventional enough to throw Cristian off his sly game like Vic did. I know lots of people fall in love with A beats B beats C, but time and again we learn how flawed it is. I'm a bigger fan of Mijares, but I'm also realistic. This would be his most impressive win to date if he pulled it off, by a huge stretch. It would also be his most competitive, not counting the wall he ran into in Darchinyan. I still think he can utilize his countering rhythm to great effect against the very conventional (almost textbook) style of the very skilled Donaire. Mijares S/UD (depending on whether there's one of those crazy anti-CM judges :yep)
This would be one of the easiest fights of Donaire's career. Mijarez is nothing and even his biggest supporter Amsty admited it.
