After Donaire's dominating performance last week he says that he's willing to fight anyone from 112 to 118. Well, Mijares is the top fighter at 115. I say these two should fight eachother. Alot of people are high on Mijares, but I've seen this Donaire kid twice now, and I think he could hang with him. Donaire is a natural 115 lb'er, so weight shouldn't be an issue. He seems to fight lefties pretty well, utilizing a great left hook.

    Thoughts?

Mijares would be too much for him. That kid is a fine tuned boxing machine.

I don't know how much weight this holds, but Mijares fought Maldonado to a draw, Donaire plastered him last night.

Mijares has become quite overrated on his schooling over Arce. Arce is a good fighter but nothing more or less. Don't get me wrong Mijares is good, but he's not some unbeatable machine. Donnaire has some very good reflexes and power that would give Mijares or anyone else a hard time.

He could definitely hang with Mijares and put up a respectable fight. Donaire has really impressed me.

    That said, I'd pick Mijares (9-3, 8-4)

I think the power is the telling thing here...I mean Vic had power and it took him to the top.. Nonito is developing into a puncher in addiotion to his excellent boxing skills and ring generalship. This is a lethal combo.. He is also big at this weight

    What makes you say that?:huh

Arce has a chance against Donaire but I would pick Donaire to beat him.

Mijares is good. Donaire is good.

They are just about tha same level. But Donaire has good power advantage.

    I pick Donaire by decision.

I'm not saying he will have an easy time with arce but it could be another arce-mijares scenario again base on donaire's style. But who knows? i'm sure arce learned a lot from that mijares fight.

Also Mijares style is manufactured...he changed his style..

Donaire on the other hand is a natural..his stance..hands down slick style...punching power...you cant learn this

I reckon he would not unify 112.

We wants too, but would the other champs want it?

Plus, Japan doesn't recognize the IBF. Donaire would have to come over there and be a challenger plus entering the fight with a very small purse unlike in the US.
