I really can't wait to see this fight. I'm a big fan of both fighters. For me this is a tough one to call. Nonito is an excellent boxer with alot of natural ability. However Nonito really hasnt been in the ring with challenging opposition in some time. Meanwhile, Montiel has been steamrolling through the best in the division. How do you see it?

    Montiel KO.

The form in the lead up favors Montiel he has beaten much better opponents and destroyed the fighter Runaire had problems with (Concepcion).NOnoto has been fighting minimum and short dudes.Did not show me anything that could be a problem for Montiel, except his speed.I think Montiel's fast too? It's a step for a nonito and I think he will get EXPOSED.

Donaire possibly by KO. Montiel swings wide as **** too often and that's thanksgiving dinner for a counterpuncher of Donaire's level.

Isn't Donaire moving up in weight? If so, why would he KO Montiel? It is the other way around. Montiel will just steam roll over him like another poster mentioned on how he is steam rolling over most of his opponents of late. Donaire looked great stopping his last opponent who did not belong at that weight class. He might fall victim to the same thing.

I like Montiel but I know Nonito will beat him. He is just the bigger guy who is technically solid and athletic as well. This will pose problems for anyone in the division. I

t is similar to when Oscar was fighting in the lower weights, he had a huge advantage over the little guys, on top of that he was technically solid with very fast hands.

When you are at such at height and size disadvantage, at such a high skill level in boxing, every little bit counts, Montiel just has too many things to overcome.

Nonito is bigger, younger and has a longer reach.

Slight edge to Montiel because of his recent competition but It's a pick 'em fight!

...I will just say that I severely underestimated Montiel once, with the Hasegawa fight and I'm not doing it again. I've been looking more and closer at him. This is a very good match-up. Not written in stone.

MOntiel is a rough tough cookie to mess with.

I would be surprised if he gets knocked out here.

I'm with you. A year ago I would've picked Donaire easy, but not anymore. To me this is a 50/50 fight.
