Looks like donaire might fight moreno next for the ring championship, this is good, keeps him busy, we can all see how donaire deals with a highly skilled taller fighter.
Not my ideal opponent but at least this is not the step backwards that occurred after his other big win. Moreno might not be a dangerous fight but he is a different fight.
yeah he ain't knocking anyone out but the fight only takes place a month after agbeko vs mares so 3 months after that they could probably fight then.
Actually, this fight is very interesting. Moreno's fighting style is far away from entertaining;however, he is slick as hell! His face is really difficult to hit. It seems that donaire relatively tends to do head-hunting, this match-up could be competitive. If donaire could succeed in hitting even single punch to Moreno's face or capitalizing Moreno's body, the fight would immediately be over. But if Moreno could put the fight into boxing-match, it could be long night for donaire.
Thing is as slicksters go, I don't think he is that slick. I mean he is rangey and generally cautious..but I find him fairly hittable still. He lacks the handspeed and power to make this an interesting fight...but because he is tall and won't present his chin on a platter its new territory for Donaire that he may take a while to overcome.
