It's not unlikely at all. It depends on what Rigo does. If he fights at least 4 times a year and we keep seeing him knocking guys out, Donaire wont be able to duck him.

He's a champion, he wins, and if he looks spectacular in his wins people will want to see the fight. Rigondeux should just go on a reign of terror and knock out guys every few months until Donaire has to fight him.

Guys were afraid of Mike Tyson but it didn't change that every guy eventually had to fight him. Everyone was afraid of Paul Williams but he found ways to make guys fight him, etc.

You can duck guys if they dont have the belt but when they have the belt or belts you can't duck them anymore. Rigo should go for the belts.

Nonito is a G man. He's definitely getting some love by the Cali fans the fight I really want to see is with Rigo or Mares Nishioka to me got a gift decision against Rafa Marquez. Nishioka would be dangerous for any 122lber, but I'd favor Mares, Rigo, and Nonito over him with no doubts. He's very powerful, but very one dimensional. Like a featherweight version of Manny without the speed.

It will be considered a duck if Rigo does go around knocking guys out and looks exciting and Donaire wont fight him.

I'm not saying Donaire shouldn't fight Rigo if Rigo builds up the fight. This fight between Donaire and Rigo would be the most significant fight in boxing next to Mayweather vs Pacquiao. And in terms of skill I think they are as skilled, and in their primes, it's the fight of the century from a pure boxing point of view.

I hope the fight happens as a fan but I understand it all depends on how Rigondeux looks. If Rigo fights more often and knocks dudes out, no one is going to care if he's from Cuba, we will want to see the fight just like we wanted to see Anderson Silva.

If Nonito beats Nishioka he will have what? three belts?
He will be undeniably the man and from this position he can make a fight with Rigondeux, Mares, or both.

I would recommend he take on Rigondeux if Rigondeux looks better because a loss to Rigondeux looks better than a loss to Mares and a win over Rigondeux would do for his legacy what Pacquiao got when he beat DLH.

If Nonito beats Rigondeux in my opinion he's P4P#1 and is the most skilled boxer on the planet.

Let Rigo beat someone worth noting first. Barely beating mid-tier Cordoba and KO'ing janitors is not going to get the job done as far as the big fights.
