Donaire-Walters is on!!

Nonito got a big pair for such a little guy.

 

This Walters is a real threat. Donnaire should have rematched the African kid, but failing that no one can accuse Nonito of taking soft fights.
Walters can win this IMO.

 

Great fight. Say what you will about Donaire and his attitude when he loses, but the man's resume and level of competition can't be questioned. This is a very fan-friendly fighy.

 

vic didn't just last against donaire he was winning the fight up until the stoppage.meanwhile walters walked right through vic like a knife through butter that's better than decent.

 

i'm really liking this fight. Walters is gaining ground to put his name out there and prove he's the best. if he fights with the right tactics (not going forward on Nonito where he can use the counters) Walters should come out with the win.

i hope Vetyeka gets the winner because he was ripped off against Donaire.

with GGG getting top billing, this is shaping up to be a good card. and boxing can do with that after a shitty year.

 

yeah if they can add 1 more decent fight to the ggg donaire card it would be perfect but that's probably asking too much.this and kovalev vs hopkins is a great way to close out what has been a bad year.

Donaire never gets the credit he deserves for the consistently ranked and tough opponents he faces. Starting since the end of 2010 against Sidorenko, Donaire faces nothing but top titlists or top ranked foes.

 

Props to Donaire for taking the toughest fights. He ducks nobody! Stepping up in weight and facing a monster puncher.

We could very well see the beginning of the end for donaire. If donaire gets knocked out here, i really don't know where he goes after this. Walters is a mean puncher and he'll be getting after nonito.

 

Donaire had that soft touch wrecking Jorge Arce in round 3 the December before he fought Rigondeaux that Spring.
