I hope fat ass Gary Shaw doesn't stand in the way of this fight for real.

Donaire vs Darchinyan 2 has to happen.

Donaire needs to be more active. His victory over Vic is already eclipsed by what Vic has done since. Pretty soon I expect to see Donaire on one of those 'where are they now' late-night TV shows.

Gary Shaw will stand in the way of a rematch, he's made that clear. Vic would need to change promoters to make the Donaire fight happen. Vic is eager for the rematch, but Gary is blocking his own fighter's wishes because of his own wounded vanity. He's made Vic his pawn in getting revenge on Donaire.

Donaire is another fighter who has failed to capitalize on a big victory. You have to wonder what he's thinking. After pulling off the upset of the year, in spectacular fashion, he goes on to do...what? He needs to be in action soon against a major fighter at 115 or 118 soon. We know it won't be Vic because of Gary Shaw, but there's still plenty of other fish in the sea.

he has a high risk / low reward fight on the horizon.

I think thats good, even though it won't drammatically improve his "fame" standing assuming he comes through. But a good KO or solid win will help him.

Its strange he is in the position of chasing Vic, even though he won the first won by KO!

Donaire was supposed to fight Montiel but that fight fell through.

Too bad. I want to see these three face off against each other.

I hope Vic is influential enough to force Shaw to agree to a fight with Nonito.
