Disagree with this post, but either way, its the loss that has made Vic a better fighter, he is more prepared for a Donaire - as he is now moving his feet and boxing far better than he was against Donaire. I rate Donaire very highly, but I get the sense Vic is fully prepared if this fight was to happen again.. Since Vics loss, he hasnt rested on his lorals and has done far more than Donaire.. I would love to see a rematch, it could go either way and would erase all doubts about a lot of things.
Nah, I just think that it will take another fighter like Donaire to expose Vic's weakness...It was still there in his fight tonight...Arce is crap, I have always thought so, and it was one of the major reason that I never bought into the Mijares hype...Vic is a wild wide swinging fighter and so is Arce, so in this instance is was a matter of who had better talent and that was in the corner of Vic...Vs a fighter like donaire Vic will always come up short, Donaires shots are short and compact, and he will beat Vic to the point 9 of 10 times which is how he knocked him out in the first place, it was no fluke like some will be calling in a short time... Donaire would knock Vic out again, and again and again...
Either way, the fight will answer a lot of questions, Vic was always going to beat Arce - and I now see Vic doing better against a classier fighter like Donaire. I dont sell Donaire short, but I credit Vic on capitilizing on the loss to Donaire and moving on and pushing the limit. Vic just moves on and fights who he needs to and I rate that, he aint waiting around for Donaire - who isnt very active, id love to see him showcasing his skills, ala Vic.
yeah, like fernando montiel who pulled out of the match a month before because he couldn't make the weight? :-( they are all afraid of donaire.
wasn't it 2 mos to make weight? Yeah i was so disappointed the fight didnt happen. Almost 2 mos and you concede you cant make weight?:tired
Donaire needs to move up to 140 and challenge pac already. Everyone from lightweight down is scared of him so why no just after the p4p 1? Donaire KO 6. :yep
highest he's fought was at 115 before moving down to face the undefeated Darchinyan. Bad managers and promoters lead to his inactivity. **** Shaw, but Donaire doesnt have to give Vic another loss. He should fight Mijares and MOntiel.
whoa, control yourself mr. smart guy. by ALL, i meant the flyweight fighters. NOT EVERYONE FROM LIGHTWEIGHT DOWN. :-(
