Wrong weight, wrong type of opponent. At 122, he will look a lot better not having to cut so much weight. Then he will take over the #2 P4P spot.

LOL, I like Donaire, but he is not surpassing Floyd or Martinez with just one more fight.

I thought he fought the best fight he could, no shame in that. you have to look at it this way.....his opponent is so scared of him that he went defensive the whole fight. If that is a sign of respect then I don't know what is.

If Narvaez actually came to try to win he would be on the canvas knocked out and you would all be praising nonito's name. Don't be a bandwagon fan.

According to ESB, Cintron, Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik are scrubs, so that takes much of Sergio's resume away, particularly as Barker gave him a broken nose. Nonito already surpassed Sergio imo.

you could possibly be right except on where you say not having to cut much weight. the reason i say is cause he came down from 145 lbs so it still is a lot of weight if he gets down to 122 just slightly less

He was inactive for much of the year and wasn't training so if he is scheduled right, the weight cutting should'nt be as large.

of course, Barker actually won a few rounds against Martinez where as Narvaez was just pathetic.

I wonder if Narvaez was thinking of his health...meaning I'm 36 years old and if I get knocked out it can't be good. Donaire should have fought jhonny perez instead, probably would have been a better fight.
