DONAIRE: You want me to fight a Cuban? Then gimme Gamboa

Donaire doesn't want any of Rigondeaux. Gamboa is a tough fight but he's a very aggressive fighter and would be a much better stylistic match-up than Rigo.

He says he doesn't want a boring fight? Why'd they make the Narvaez fight then. I think he means I don't want to look bad again and Rigo would definitely expose some of Donaires flaws. I'm not saying he'd defintely win but Rigo has a good chance to.

 

How were they to know the Narvaez fight would be boring ?

 

He's is a middle-aged guy with no fanbase outside of Argentina who fights in a boring style. What did they think the fight would be like?

 

They, like the majority of us, thought Nonito would KO him.

 

The only reason Donnadie picked Narvaez was because he was tiny , a really small guy that Nonito could knock out easyly , that's his speciality , but it kind of backfired on him ...
