He's the Junior Bantamweight champ. Or, Super Flyweight champ... which ever they're calling it.

He's a slick, defensive-oriented fighter who used to rely on quickness. Fights a bit like his idol, Nicolino Locche, but doesn't have 1/10th of his talent. He's made more title defenses than any Argentinian fighter in history, but at this point he's getting older and has lost some quickness. Wasted a large part of his career fighting the worst possible opponent as well, just staying at home in Argentina rather than seeking greater glory. He won a close but clear fight his last time out against one of the three best opponents of his career, but Donaire is a huge step up from Seda.

He's defended his WBO featherweight title like 15 times, then conquered the WBO super feather title and defended it about 3 times. But now he's past prime and going up in weight to take on the bigger, younger, and faster Donaire.

He'll suffer his first loss by TKO in the last rounds.

I don't know either... is he like the equivalent of a euro hype job? are they are just selling it to us because of undefeated and with a title?

he's a short fighter, who's done good in a weak division, whose been fighting a long time, who is fighting a P4P fighter in his debut at a higher weight...

He's a sacrificial lamb if you need to know.

    Stupid fight.

There is nothing Naervez brings to the fight the poses a threat to Donaire.

That's the most I've read about him.

Sounds kind of like an Argentinian version of a fighter I can't mention without Failey and crew hijacking the thread.

A solid fighter in his prime but now He has faded a lot and is small super flyweight. Fighting Nonito for the money do not have a chance too old, small and with little power. I expected to last at least 8 rounds because of Narvaez good chin and very difficult stile that He has.
