Have waited years for a clear copy of this fight to be put up on Youtube and here it finally is.

Fascinating to see the high quality operator Curry was even as a outsized shot fighter here.

Ultra high standard. Not seen that at middle since 94 with Jones and McClellan in defenses. But this was two-way!

I was a huge fan of both Curry and Nunn but wanted Curry to win in an effort to redeem himself at least in my view.
Curry was NEVER the same after Honeyghan and it was annoying to watch. One second it looks like his confidence and skills are back the very next minute he's a completely different boxer.
And it would drive me crazy as a fan.
Against Nunn you could see a semblance of Curry's skill but it was a mirage and to be honest Nunn was just coasting most of that fight.
There were rumors that Nunn hadn't really trained like he once did and his last performances against Barkley and Starting showed it.
    This fight confirmed it.

Curry hit Nunn more cleanly and frequently than anyone up to that point before the stamina crash that afflicted him post Honeyghan. Still it was a tantalising glimpse into what could have been if he hadnt derailed his career

It was annoying to watch. His fight with Rosi and McCallum were so annoying to witness.

Curry at his best is the sharpest puncher I’ve seen

I saw it live on either HBO or showtime back then. This and the Norris bout were cash out fights for Curry. It was sad to watch. On a side note I commend Nunn for showing good sportsmanship in that fight. At one point Donald slipped to the canvas and Michael reached out to help him up
