Leonard beat Hearns - the man who pretty much ended Cuevas, & was far more skilled & a harder puncher than Cuevas. Cuevas was also destroyed by lightweight Duran a few years later. Cuevas was a good solid fighter, but too limited & tailor-made to compete with Leonard.

Hearns knocked Pipino into a different time period.
And no he didn't need a million punches.
Shields lost a razor thin decison to Jose.

Its funny. When Curry fought Rosi he was totally shot.
Rosi at the time kept winning albeit ugly but nobody could get him.
Curry bounced him off the canvas and stopped him.

Curry fought Aquino who is similar to Cuveas in style and Curry beat him easily.
People forget Curry can hit too and Jose while he had a great chin could get hurt too.

Comparing Aquino to Cuevas is the same as comparing Curry to Leonard. You have never watched Pipino's prime, have you?

Remember that Aquino caught him with a real good shot, in the 11th or 10th that really had him shook.

I actually watched him alot- even so the Price bout which was a good fight.
Aquino at one time in his career was a heavy handed prospect who had a heavy lefthook and was a good bodypuncher.
Aquino beat Moore on an undercard bout and looked impressive. Latter he won a piece of the title.
Out of the ring troubles is what did him in.
Problem with Cuevas is he has only one way to fight and against a multi talented boxer with power that could be a problem.
Sure he has tremendous power but if he had fought a Leonard I think it would have been too much.
Curry will move on Cuevas and box. And he has the power to get respect from Cuevas.

Cuevas was knocked out by a lightweight (Duran).

That statement proves my points and shows just how big a dumbass you are. That same lightweight kicked Leonards ass too. I will argue w u no longer. I must not continue arguing w an idiot. He will pull me down to his level and beat me with experience.
