I am going to purchase either a career set of Donald Curry or Terry Norris. I have seen highlights and early fights of both of them and they are very exciting. That is part of what I buy career sets on but I also want quality competition. I don't want to see them beat a few quality opponents and a load of stiffs. What was there general level of competition like? Who is the more entertaining fighter and had more memorable fights.

I just recently got a Curry career set myself. Curry was a complete fighter with pin point accuracy. Id say Norris was more talented and explosive, yet Curry was more complete.

Norris probably had the more entertaining fights b/c his career had it all: highlight knockouts, upsets, and just plain weird ****. Im only on disc 3 of my Curry set, so Id be really interested in seeing what other people think.

Norris hands down. Curry was a flash in the pan.

I'm a fan of both and have Norris career set and enjoy it alot. I'm thinking about getting Curry's soon too. Between both it depends on what you go for. Both are accurate and good to watch. Norris is more explosive and Curry is more patient but it depends on you. I have Norris' set and do recommend it for Norris fans and plan on getting Curry's maybe next year. I go for technical fighters for the most part lol.

Norris if you want more entertainment. Curry if you want a greater degree of skill and technical soundness.

I'd say Norris. He's probabily second best light middle of all time. Just a beast with very good skills at his best, although he faced fighters that were smaller for the most part, he was excitement and skill combined. Brillient finisher who was vulnerable at times. His two fights with Simon Brown should be worth it on their own.

BAsed on you wanting a good level of competition i would go with Curry.

Norris best opponent's were generally smaller washed up fighters.he was even calling out Chavez at one point, the hack.

exactly. Norris always did well against the washed up guys like Leonard and Norris and small guys Taylor, but then he would lose to Brown legit guys.

Lol, I can't really say which one I prefer TBH but I have seen much more of Norris than I have of Curry. That ratio will be closer in these months to come.

Bit harsh. Terrible Terry wasn't that big himself tbh. I think he knew though that he could be drawn into a tear up and abandon his gameplan like in the Brown first fight and that's why he always looked down. He was always too big for the likes of Meldrick Taylor, Chavez et al. But i would've loved a Whitaker vs. Norris match-up. Norris was very skilled and you were in trouble if you couldn't hurt him. He was a badass with a lot of killer instinct, no ones better at 154 apart from Hearns or McCallum.

I think Curry was better in his prime which was short like 2-3 years, but Norris had better longevity and could deal with rebounding better. Prime for prime I think Curry stops Norris in a few rounds.
