I was once eating at a buffet with some dudes and one of my buddies saw Donald from across the way, called him over "Hey, Donald! ...Donald! Come over here!" and Donald tried to pretend he just barely heard him, when everyone heard him. He comes over, we start eating, and I know that Donald gonna fight soon and he's loading up on all this garam masala this and then the phall masala comes out and I'm like "Yo, DC, you sure you wanna be eatin' that so close to a fight, man?" Dude looks at me and his eyes are the deadest, coldest things I ever seen not on a shark or a Democrat. "Oh, what? You got a problem with this?" He asks and he starts like adding more and more and more to his plate, all while staring me down, making me feel small. "You got a problem with ALL OF THIS? MMM MM MM MM mmm." he says, just shoveling this crap in his gob.

I started getting teary-eyed and bashful, could barely keep from breaking down in tears in front of the rest of the guys. I am not used to being called out like that, made to feel like that, especially not by skinny dudes. "Hey, Boxed Ears, man, why don't you go home and cry to yo mama, if this spice too hot to think about?" he says to me, taking another gulp of spicy food. The guys all jeered and laughed at me and Bobby actually pointed and made a baby crying noise and then broke out into that same type of laughter that the Cobra Kai kid did in the final fight scene of Karate Kid made, after going "Give him a body bag!" I knew what was going to happen next. I did know. I knew it was going to be bad, and I started hearing the squirting sound and my jeans began to fill with warmth and wetness and timidity. I got up and I grabbed my fanny pack and ran out of the Regal Beagle for the final and last time, nearly slipping as I did so.

They all laughed at me that day and I would say he who laughs last does laugh the hardest, as he fought Honeyghan before the week was out. But I didn't laugh. Because I lost all my friends and the money I placed on Donald. And a pair of jeans that I burned in a garbage pale. And my dignity.

I think Curry will come out and look good for a few rounds,,,,until he doesn't .I like Tito by KO, around the middle of the fight

I'm inclined to agree with you. But in my mind I keep seeing Curry hit McCrory with that hook and it gives me a shadow of doubt.

Trinidad was bounced off the floor by a few fringers and struggled with the likes of Anthony Stephens. I see prime Curry, and granted it was a short prime of maybe two to three years, beating Trinidad and beating him hard. Prime Curry, IMHO, could compete with anybody at 147 ever. Opinions vary, I'm sure.

Curry's head is too static for me he doesn't move his head and we all remember the left hook McCallum scored on Curry to put him to sleep and Tito has a great left hook.

I think Curry is ahead after 6 rounds and possibly scores a knockdown early on. But as Tito often did he takes over in the 2nd half of the fight and scores a late stoppage via a left hook.

Curry was quick but Tito was no slouch in the speed department himself. Trinidad was a huge welterweight with the type of power you rarely see at 147.

He could move guys with glancing blows, hurt guys through their gloves. He carried that power throughout into the late rounds. Endless stamina.

Donald Curry had the type of talent that would have ranked him with the very best fighters of all time had he keep form. Curry could outbox Trinidad. Possibly knock him down.

I just dont have enough faith in Curry's response to Trinidad when he lands on the button. Its one thing to outbox Tito for a few rounds but to do it over the whole fight you have to be solid all around. Airtight defense, tough chin, heart- the ability to dig deep after getting shook.

I would pick Trinidad by stoppage probably late in a real good battle.
