Donald Curry vs Fernando Vargas

    one thing about Donald is he had a nice counter left hook, and Vargas was always open to it. I wouldn't be surprised if Donald stopped Vargas in 6 or 7 rounds. I like Fernando and he had a lot of heart, but this is not a good style fight for him. I think Vargas is HOF,, but i don't think this style would be good. Donald was a great counterpuncher and that was his bread and butter the counter left or right. The McCallum fight with Curry is one of the most entertaining fights where two guys are trying to find openings. A fascinating fight. .

    I think Curry is the more likely winner here, and works Vargas over to a late TKO, but I also think that Vargas gets written off too quickly due to his post 2000 career. He was a quality fighter at his best, and his relentless style was a blast to watch.
