at junior middle weight i think fernando vargas would have won. vargas was very powerful and even more brave. i think vargas could stand up to currys shots long enough to land his own. curry one of the most well rounded fighters in boxing history but much smaller then vargas who was pretty complete in his own right at least before trinidad.
After leaving 147, Curry was very vulnerable.So I think after about six or seven close rounds, Curry would falter under Vargas' onslaught and get stopped.
