    Curry was talented for sure. But YES YES this forum goes way overboard in discussions involving him. Just because a fighter has a short prime doesnt mean we dont look at his entire career. He was a smooth beautiful boxer who had holes that elite fighters could exploit.

    BTW whats all this talk of "a short prime"? This argument is rarely used for any other fighters but its the staple for Curry on this forum. So short prime means the fighter in question is comparable with any other ATG??

    So does Antonio Margarito have a "short prime" as well? What about Fernando Vargas?

    It's too bad that the IBOF overlooks Curry all of the time.

    He held a welterweight world title for 3.75 years. That is a very substantial amount of time. And he unified all the titles. That is enough for HOF entry, in my opinion.

    Easily. I'm actually kind of amazed it's even debatable by the voters.
