    Doncaster Dome (Tonight) - Championship Boxing

    Anyone off to this? My mate Kurt Bromberg is fighting Kevin Hammond for the British Masters Title. It's his first 10 rounder. Hopefully he'll bring the title back to Leeds :good

    He actually beat my cousin a while back, Mick Stanton. Stopped on a clash of heads. Mick is back out again in October against Bobby Wood.

    See if Kurt fancies a rematch after he wins his first title ;)

    One of the first Dome cards that i've missed in ages...good luck to Kurt but he might have his hands full with Hammond :thumbsup

    Cheers for the good luck messages, I'm hopefully heading over there tonight so i'll give an update of how it goes. Hammond is definitely a few levels up and this is only Kurt's 6th pro fight. He's been training his arse off for this and had some quality sparring so hopefully he'll give a decent account of himself at the very least.

    Paddy, I'll pass on the message regarding a re-match with Stanton :good

    I think the Doncaster v Leeds game was recently switched from Saturday to Friday night for Sky coverage. So, i'm guessing the boxing was already organised before that happened :think ?

    Pretty good..... opposite Blue Coyote :lol:

    I went on the opening night the day Leeds got promoted, it seemed more like a private party with loads of people outside wanting to get in and being turned away, even though it wasn't, though I think most places were drunk dry that day :yep

    Not been in for a bit though, was gonna call in for an hour on Wednesday but didn't get out until quite late.

    Blue Coyote :lol:. Ah I've walked past it actually!! It's just near The Lounge isnt it! It was really busy, looked good though. Will have to pop in tomorrow night :good. That night after Leeds got promoted is the only time i've seen places letting people in with leeds shirts on! :lol:.

    Have you any idea if Sports Bar have got the boxing on tomorrow night?
