    I think 2 of the 3 floors have closed. Sports Bar is just in the basement floor now (or at least it was about 2 weeks ago when i went in). I thought they might have been doing all they could to get more people in as they're obviously struggling.

    edit: I think you're right actually as the official website only lists Bimingham and London!?

    That's really strange if true - I know for a while they'd close the main door at 11 or 12ish and use the basement entrance, but closing off the top 2 floors seems mad to me.

    Especially given that it was always busy all day on Saturday and Sunday :think

    We usually go there to watch the Grand Final, because it was busy enough for an atmosphere but not so rammed that you can't get to see the TV and to the bar..... Walkabout it is then :-(

    Good luck to your mate. I had thought about going tonight but Leeds are on tv and I have certain money expenditures right now so can not justify the Mag 7 ppv and this.

    I felt like a right twat a few back. My mate from Scotland had come down from the weekend. On Sunday, after a big night on Saturday, I told him we'd head to sports bar and just sit in there all day and watch the football.

    I'd been giving him the tale about how big it was, how many screens they had, how good the food was etc etc........only to arrive there, hungover, finding that they only had about 2 screens working in the basement and only serving fosters behind the bar :lol: :patsch.

    I wonder if that Golf Cafe will have it on? Have you been in there?

    :lol: I got some stick, put it that way.

    Yeah Golf Cafe isnt bad. They've got loads of indoor golf simulators in little rooms and a large bar area with a big screen etc. They seem to be putting a load more sport on in there, probably to get more people in. It's just round the corner from The Hilton.

    Cheers mate. Yeah the Leeds game has made it a bit awkward, the traffic round there will be a joke, no doubt! If we play anything like the other night, then i'll be glad i've missed it. Knowing my luck we'll win 5-0 when i've not bothered :lol:

    Sounds alright, will have to pay a visit.

    Hardly anywhere shows the boxing, other than Khan fights..... it's awkward with it starting at 6 up against the Super League playoff - a lot of people will prefer to watch that in Leeds.

    Yeah, true. Sports Bar was the only place I thought might show it. Looks like a night in and a few cans instead!!
