Povetkin is much better than Haye who fights elderly only. Haye is just ahead of him on paper because of the fake belt. The true champion was Chagaev. Haye did not fight him. He took a shortcut but it will not work against KlitschKO.

Povetkin is the man. No one cares about the lying shepperd Haye.

The only thing Povetkin is better than Haye at is his ability to take a beating, but against Klitschko, I would not call this an asset.

Having seen almost all of Haye fights, I think that Haye lacks Povetkin skills in every aspect of boxing. He is a better athlete only. That's his only advantage over Povetkin.

If you say so than it must be like it is written in the Bible.

Now stop spamming the thread with this Haye ****. This is about Wladimir v Povetkin. Wladimir does not fight women.

Exactly. Only when Wladimir (or Vitali) is their opponent, can the #3/4 ranked fighter in the ENTIRE WORLD be called a tomato can. Ridiculous!

What Povetkin does have much better than Haye is H2H resume. He beat Brock, Chambers, two fighters who would beat anyone on Haye's resume and is undefeated. Haye was a very good cruiserweight, his HW resume consists of fighters above 35 years and either with five or more losses or a similar number of gift decisions.

Ranking is subjective. Valuev was still ranked quite high when Haye beat him. Valuev was still not far from being a can.

Still, that was because Valuev was ranked higher than his skills merited. Povetkin has a legitimate claim at being in the top 5.

Of course, I expect that to be reviewed after he gets beaten.

Povetkin is gonna be a worthy adversary. I don't think his tenacity will be enough to win...but wlad will have his hands full vs this guy

Ok thanks for the heads up. I will go ahead and get some people to start emailing showtime to tell them not to show his fight. We are not going to put up with him fighting bums and getting put on american TV. Our emails worked on HBO and now its time to make sure showtime does not waste there money on a fighter that does not take risks. Mark my words this fight will not be on showtime. If you nuthuggers want to see his fight watch it on PPV or on the net. If you want to waste your money on his boring fights go ahead.
