Montiels record is impressive, but he is a bit overrated by some people in my opinion.. the image of him getting kd multiple times and made to look like a rag doll against some unknown black dude (whose name i cannot remember)is still fresh on my mind,, and getting put to the canvass by a lighter hitting Gorres...The result of this fight was not really a surprise for me

Concepcion outweighed Nonito by 15 lbs in that fight but Nonito absorved his best punches. I thinks that's good enough for a test.

 

i'm certainly a fan of donaire. but i think that his chin still has to be tested. i still have some doubts about it especially against elite power punchers. we'll find this out when he finally fights either jml or gamboa.

I'd like to see him going toe toe toe with a future opponent in the championship rounds soon. He wins so many by K.O that one has to wonder how he would fare in a brutal long lasting war.
