Donnie Hall, an exciting 17 year-old 'amateur' Middleweight in 1957.

Competed in the Golden Gloves, and several Louisville amateur tournaments.

Scored a 'good' win on July 6, 1957 - when he defeated a young Cassius Clay in a
    'special' 165 lb. bout.

Would later meet Cassius Clay in a 175 lb. bout, in a scheduled 4-Round Amateur
Tournament in October 1957, and lose.

After a 'moderately' successful amateur career record of 55-9 (19 KO's), Donnie turned
professional in March 1959 with high expectations.

In his short 'one year' pro career, Donnie went 3-1-0 in '4-Bouts', before joining the
    U.S Military in January 1960.
