No problem at all with Nietes win. What an amazing champion.

Now that i have watched it i have it nietes 6-5 ioka. I missed rd 1. My summary of it is nietes was much more accurate in the early rds and everytime they trade. Ioka had success in rds 6-10 with his movement. 11 i favored nietes cleaner work and when they trade in 12 nietes again snagged it for me.

But boy i was surprised by nietes's condition here. I though his punches would've no effect on ioka but his shots were thudding and rocking ioka. He definitely looked stronger here than when he fought palicte.

    1. Kyoguchi picks up a great scalp in Hekkie. Don't understand at all why everyone hates Budler.

    2. Mthalane the most underrated and unappreciated boxer of the last decade, period! Stoked he is still doing his thing.

    3. Sad to see Ioka lose but no shame in a razor close action fight to a legend in Nietes. Especially where it seems a slight majority scored it for him (same as his loss to Amnat). I had said the winner of this will certainly deserve to be lumped in that relatively clear "big 8" on the "pound for pound list..." Old Nietes and comebacking Ioka moving up weight divisions, proving time and time again how beast they are. Rematch, please!

Had it 5-5-1draw going in the 12th which I gave to Nietes by a hairline...Really liked Nietes conter-punching work in this bout. A draw would have been fair

**** Nietes, ninja turtle looking c***, second gift this year for this mother****er, Palicte, eh, but over Ioka, now I hate him and am actively rooting to see him violently destroyed.

No, I think he got a gift in a draw with Palicte and from what I've read here, he lost to Ioka, who's one of my favorite fighters in the lower weights, so I'm ****ing pissed off.

nietes 7-5, he landed more cleaner and crisp punch, most of ioka’s punch was blocked, good defense by nietes

I wonder when will Nietes finally get the credit he deserves and become more recognized. He should be considered Top 10 P4P.

People pushing the Nietes agenda (when they don't have to) be like:

"totally masterclassed," "better counterpunching," "the much harder shots," "Ioka just didn't land much," "Nietes dictated every round," "epic dominant performance." ...then they post their score of 6-6 or 6-5-1, haha. I like Nietes and while Ioka has long been my boy I'm not super upset about it. But this pattern in clearly razor close and controversial matches (looking at you, Canelo vs. 9G) is funny to me.

**** off CST. I scored the Palicte fight a draw. Close scorecards favoring either fighter would’ve been fair. **** off with that robbery BS. As for this fight, haven’t watched it yet, but most people have it razor close and have acknowledged that numerous rounds could’ve gone either way. Respect the legend.

    Round 1

Ioka taking lead, jabbing into the elbows, keeping a constant light precipation of body shots drizzling in from mid-range. Ioka tries some left hooks up top but they lack vigor and he seems to be having trouble finding his aim upstairs. Nietes working almost exclusively behind a sharp left jab, cutting incisively through Ioka's guard with it, controlling distance well by foot placement and making timely use of defensive lateral duck-and-rolls when necessary. Ioka with a couple of nice left hooks on the hip at the bell.

    10-9 Nietes, barely
