Donnie Nietes v Manuel Vargas

Someone else in the RBR thread had Nietes winning all of the1st 6 rounds, where I had Nietes winning the 5 of the 6.

Vargas only landed like 2 flush shots and was taking uppercuts and sharp right hands all night. Granted Vargas was the aggressor and threw much more than Nietes but that was a schooling on Nietes part by far.

this aint the amateurs bro, body shots count as well....and they were both landing to the head too, not just nietes.....

 

The RBR thread shows each round who I scored it for, when the fight gets uploaded. We can watch it again and have a RBR debate of who won what.

 

The 118-110 was just too wide. This coming from a Filipino. It was a close match but I think Nietes edged it by being more accurate, the jabs the uppercuts were nice. Vargas at times threw wildly mostly hitting Nietes gloves.. But I like his body punching, he need to develop a jab.

 

Close match. But the announcers were incredibly biased against Nietes..

 

I don't mind, this one was real fight, unlike the other one in Puerto Rico kid just ran a round.Vargas may have won.Good fight.

i made a mistake, i intended 5-0 not 6-0. i lost track of the rounds. Round 6 is a clear vargas round

anyway, i scored the fight a draw, vargas won the last 4 rounds

 

THEF shoulg bar the JUDGES that gave NEITES THE FIGHT.and BOOM BOOM is asian he aint clowning nobody,straight I'M ASIAN and i know he wishes he was MEXICAN.:good

 

That was a close fight, i would disagree with the judges too... Vargas was all out aggression, but i really saw it hitting a lot of elbows and gloves, the body from time to time. Vargas on the other hand was getting hit by uppercuts, and straight punches, though it wasnt snapping his head back. It was close, but i had Vargas winning it by SD. depends on what those judges prefferred. Not so effective aggression or Half hearted accurate punching. Fight sucked if you asked me.

 

whowww whoowwww whoowwwwwwwwwwww how can you have it a SPLIT DECISION....it takes more than one person for that

 

ok not a split, since i dont have a scorecard here, but that was close, and some who had it for Vargas by a wide margin is just pushing it. I had him winning by 1 to 2 rnds max..
