Donny Lalonde vs Golden Age Lightheavies.

How well does Lalonde do against Saad, Galindez, MJohnson,
Yaqui Lopez, Rossman, Eddie Mustafa ...and even 80's Qawi & M.Spinks?

Not too good. He was stopped by a blown up SRL. All these guys are natural lightheavy's and hit hard.
Lalonde was good, it's just that all these guys are better. He did have really nice power in his right hand.

The only one I'd give him a chance against is Rossman. Maybe Lopez too, because Lopez always seemed to come up short in big fights for some reason.

I dont see him beating anyone you mentioned. Not even close. The logical pick would be Rossman but even a prime Rossman tears him up

The going with Galindez especially wouldn't have gone well for Donnie....and I think Rossman would have topped him too.

We're in agreement here ru!! I think if Galindez l Rossman showed up it would be bad news for Donnie. Underrated guy Rossman was.....he couldn't help it that he pissed off Victor Galindez.

I like Donny. He is a good person, but not a great fighter. He was a good fighter. He was used by Ray for two titles but he got paid well.

Spinks was far better than anyone else in this conversation and if the smaller, older Leonard could stop him the Muhammad would have destroyed him, Saad would have blown Ray away easily.

Lalonde would be hospitalized against any of this bunch.

Donny struggled with Leonard ,who was no way a legit Lght heavyweight .So not to well against any of the golden era .He'd make for entertainment but wouldn't get his hands on a belt .

Is anyone brave enough to put forward an argument for Donny beating any of these guys?!

Nope. Best he's doing is what he did--blitz guys like Carlos Tite. Now there's a name not thrown around much---that ESPN guy Carlos The Force Tite.
