just seen on boxrec that boucher was stopped in 9th round in a bid for the canadian l/m title at the ripe old age of 46 . i recall seeing him stopped by glenwood brown in the 80s and then coming to the uk and beating gary jacobs,kirkland laing,micky hughes and robert wright and then losing to eamomn loughran,all commonwealth title bouts. after that he was given a title shot against the dangerous cristanto espana and was stopped in 10. boucher then all but fell off the radar and re-surfaced last year in a couple of 8 rounders. he was pretty slick on his good nites as i remember. anyone know anymore about his recent comeback?
I saw Boucher doing an open workout at the Eaton ceter before the O'Sullivan fight. Some punk walked by and said "Give me a piece of Boucher, man!" Trainer replies: "Yeah, come on up here, we need some more meat" Then he took apart O'Sullivan (who's quite punch drunk now I think)
