In other words...It's easier to keep a clean room clean than to clean a dirty room.

With clay feet, I might add...

...And that is all I will be adding...dot. dot. dot.

    By sword
    By pick
    By axe
    Bye bye

He also kod nobody of note. Except Maskaev who was kod by everybody.

If Ruddock can get up from Tyson kds with a smile on his face, hed beat the living **** out of peter.

Sam Peter never stopped anybody of note.

Hes not stopping the guy who went toe to toe with Tyson. Something no one did before or after Ruddock.

I think that Evander did go toe to toe with Tyson.

Not really, he outboxed Tyson for most of the fight, only standing toe to toe at the end when he knew Tyson was out of gas.

Peter threw about 40 punches at 154 pounder Gilbert Martinez before he finally stopped him on his feet.

He doesn't beat any Ruddock. Or Mercer. Or Morrison. Or Foreman etc etc

Ruddock would k.o him...peters is not a tall fighter, outside Tyson only tall fighters made him work like smith.Lewis said it best when he stated Ruddock was the most talented Hw he saw before he stopped using his jab...Ruddock had speed a excellent uppercut and vicious left hook...he has all the tools to be dangerous for peter who would be target practice because he just stays in your face, and hes no Tyson.Ruddock by k.o late rounds around8/9.

Fair enough-- I wouldn't be surprised if he survived and outlasted Peter. But I don't think that the Tyson fights prove nearly as much as most people seem to. Ruddock fought the plodding, no-head-movement, one lunging power punch at a time version of Tyson. Prime Peter presents a very different matchup in terms of size, reach, and combination punching.

The point im trying to make is, Ruddock stood toe to toe with a much greater puncher than Peter. So i cannot see how Peter would deter Ruddock. Tyson was not near his best, but that version of Tyson was still the best or 2nd best heavyweight in the world and better than ant version of Sam Peter.

It should be Peter who should have question marks around his chin because he never fought a puncher in the same league as Ruddock and the one guy Peter did go toe to toe with, Mcline dropped him like a bad habit. 3 times.

Peter is getting knocked the **** out.

I've got Ruddock, especially if he used the jab. But Ruddock was stupid and could always blow it. Bonecrusher almost got him out.

Thats exactly it, boxings full of men who have amazing highlight reels against journeymen, when they stepped up, the so called power was nowhere to be seen. Peter is a perfect example of this, and more recent examples include Thurman and Wilder.

The fact that you have to resport to journeyman proves the point im making. Peter for all his so called amazing power, never KOd anybody of note. Hes not knocking out Razor Rudduck. If anything Peter himself is getting knocked out because as i said before, the few decent punchers he fought dropped him like a bad habit or made him quit (Mccline, Wlad and Vitali)

He could have, no doubt about it, however Ruddock did stand toe to toe with that version of Tyson, traded bombs, took punishment himself and was still standing. Nobody ever recieved as much punishment from Tyson as Ruddock did. Thats testament to how good and durable Ruddock was at his best.

Ruddock is the only guy who can claim he took Tysons best for 12 rounds and still finished on his feet.

Peter is not stopping Ruddock, Peter is getting smashed.

Peter has never been hit with anything close to what Ruddock is going to unleash on him. Whats Peter going to show Ruddock that Ruddock hasnt already seen in Tyson?

    Peters power is slightly overated.
