Completely agree. Holyfield doesn't stop Ruddock. In fact, I see Ruddock hurting Holyfield a lot more than vice versa if they were to brawl.

I can't see Razor winning this fight. I honestly think he was overrated after tougher than expected fights vs Tyson.
    BUT.
Ruddock never came close to win vs Tyson.
    He never put him down
He was knocked down 4 times and clearly lost both fights
It was post-Douglas Tyson, who took a brutal beating just a year earlier. 88' version of Mike stops Ruddock in 7 rds without any controversy and wins all rounds in process.

Surely, Ruddock had great power. But his skills weren't on par with Holy, not even close.

Some will say - if Cooper had Holy in trouble, imagine how would Razor do.

Well, if McCall stopped Lewis inside 2 rds, imagine what Razor (far better puncher than McCall) does to Lennox? Wait, they fought already, Lko 2, right?:think

Holy can't stop Ruddock inside 2. But he obviously can outbox and outsmart him and get a clear win

Cooper only had Holyfield in trouble because he caught him with a shot he didn't see coming. Holyfield shouldn't have too much of a problem taking Ruddock's telegraphed punches.

Holyfield would have defeated Ruddock but would probably have had to fumble and fiddle his way through after quite possibly having been repeatedly wobbled himself. Ruddock was above average to be fair, had flattened Bonecrusher and Dokes and made for a formidable opponent, he did fairly well against a slightly faded Tyson but was flattened by Lennox Lewis, ignoring the Morrison bout as he was finished at world level by that stage.,He would have hurt Holyfield on several occasions maybe even decking him but Evander would have eventually scored a hard earned victory, either late round stoppage, or comfortably on points but not without one or two scares along the way.....
