Ruddock gets overrated from the Tyson fights. Remember he lost both and never really looked like winning, he just surprised people by being able to hang with Tyson and land some hard shots. He always had a terrible work rate, I mean truly awful he only threw 249 punches over 12 rounds! That's only 21 punches a round or 7 per minute. His once good jab was a tool he'd forgotten about and he was pretty one dimensional. Brawl with him and you played into his hands but other than that he was nothing special.

But having said that he'd be a threat to anyone with his power.

Parker - I could see Parker getting forced back like he always does when faced with an aggressive opponent which is never good for Parker who has no offence when on the back foot. But does Ruddock throw enough to win on points? This could be one of the rare occasions Parker out works an opponent. Ruddock would need to KO Parker to win he's never winning a fight on the scorecards when such an anemic punch out put. 50/50 fight for me. Parker won't stand in front of Ruddock like Tyson and Morrison did, he'll have to chase him down, he'll be frustrated by Parker's movement but he'll have chances to land because Parker exposes himself to be countered when he does attack.

Takam - Ruddock KO. Takam will out work him, but the way he comes in and is willing to trade will see him get the smash. I think Takam will likely be ahead on the scorecards when it happens as he'll out work Ruddock but that work rate comes at a price and it will expose Takam's chin eventually to the big left.

Pulev - I could see Pulev winning on points, he's good enough to out box Ruddock. Ruddock also doesn't have the fast hands and fast feet that allowed Wlad to get off first with his left hook. Ruddock won't find it as easy to land his left as Wlad did. But he probably gets to Pulev eventually as Pulev has no real weapons to hurt Ruddock with and so Ruddock will just keep plowing forward until he lands that left hand. But wouldn't shock me if Pulev won a decision.

Whyte - Whyte has the better jab, better work rate, better variety, I can see him out working and out boxing Ruddock. But Whyte can be sloppy, Parker almost got him. Very dangerous fight for Whyte, could see him getting KO'ed, he's not difficult to hit. Ruddock KO is likely while behind on the scorecards.

Miller - I could see Miller outworking Ruddock to win. But damn Miller is easy to hit, he'll be eating smashes with more frequency that Bermane Stiverne empties out a buffet. Don't care how good his chin is, even granite cracks if you hit it enough. Ruddock KO.

Breazeale - Like Miller far too easy to hit. But he has a good chin and a big punch and also throws far more than Ruddock. I see this being a real brawl, but Breazeale pays a price for his aggression and eventually get's stopped. Ruddock KO.

with his jab, Ruddock was waiting for his opponent to close the distance to trade with him, he was a sharp shooter, only throwing when he knew he could hurt the opponent, Parker wouldn't play into his cards. Ruddock would have a very good punchers chance but Parker also has a good chin.

and Chisora, we know he can get hurt by a big puncher or when he runs out of gas. Easy win for Ruddock.

Miller featherfisted as he is couldn't hurt Ruddock who would counter him with left hooks all day long until he hits
the ground unconscious and exhausted. Easy fight for Ruddock.

like Miller his defense is too bad and he would get knocked out at the end of the day.

Ruddock would have close fights with Parker and Whyte and he would beat Takam, Pulev, Miller and Breazeale
    fairly easy.

Joseph Parker - Parker lacks the punching power or defense to keep Ruddock from knocking him out. He has fast hands, but his poor footwork and timing neutralize his own handspeed.

Carlos Takam - Has better defense than Parker, but still lacks any punching power to keep Ruddock from running over him. Ruddock hits much harder than Joshua and would finish Takam early like Joshua should've been able to.

Kubra Pulev - No punching power and awful defense. Wlad was landing telegraphed power shot after telegraphed power shot. Pulev kept falling for the same left hook and straight right. Ruddock knocks Pulev out cold. Pulev also has a bad habit of leaving his left hand low, which is begging to get put to sleep by a puncher like Ruddock.

Dillian Whyte - Has power and talent, but poor conditioning and poor speed. I see Ruddock beating him in the middle rounds, since I see Whyte gassing out first.

Jarrell Miller - Average power, no mobility, and no timing. Miller is too fat and too slow. Also, he won't be able to bully Ruddock. I see Miller trying to walk Ruddock down and getting knocked out walking into a right hand.

Dominic Breazeale - Has power, but very little skill and has no speed or defense. Breazeale is too easy to hit
and too slow to land any good punches on Ruddock.

Ruddock would be undisputed champion today, if he didn't run into Tyson he would have knocked Lewis out cold when they fought, instead he fought Lewis when he was washed up and damaged.
