Don't act like beating Margarito was anything special.

its no sweat off my back

like i said, i think Floyd would beat Pac if Floyd would actually man up and take the fight

your going to say whatever so its all pointless. guess your man-crush for floyd influences your irrational thoughts. you want to make a point but your a small little child inside and you lack the maturity or civility to have a thoughtful conversation about anything.

btw, congrats on your top notch pick for winning this fight. That margo really beat the **** out of Pac and sent him headed for the hills. They should get you to predict the winner of every fight that happens because your ability to see into the future is uncanny. your that dude nallage:good

I think MP is a great fighter, no question about that, the only one that could give him problem would be, a fighter that can box and punch, and fast as MP, I don't think FM has the power to stop an assault by MP, it has to b a guy like Williams or Martinez, both fast, good boxers and powerful, around the 140-147, Berto, Khan I don't think they have the chin, Bradley maybe.

don't mind Uli. Like Flexb he is another disciple of the fish netted one and is still very upset how pac humiliated him and also because of his domination of mexican fighters in general.

    Alright, man...no beef. We're talking boxing here...

Anyway, I agree that placing Pacquiao is the top 10 at this point is a bit much. Those are just over zealous fans doing that...over zealous fans that don't know much about boxing. But at the same time, someone who puts him any lower that top 30 doesn't know much about boxing either. I personally think he is top 25-20. A dominating win over FMJ puts him in the top 15 easily. He'll never be higher than that. Not in this era. When it comes to ranking guys, a lot of the time, it's all about hindsight, so, 20 years from a victory over Floyd...yeah, maybe top 10.

Although the drama and pageantry was special the fight was nothing new and when placed in perspective of Pacquiao whole career this fight is a repeat.

Basically if you turned down the volume of all the marketing and hype for this fight and just looked at these two fighter for what they are you could easily see this fight has been done before in Pacquiao career and beside a lucky punch which I thought Margarito may get off in this fight when he had him on the ropes, it was going to go just like all the other face first Mexican fights that Pacquiao fights.

I don’t hate Pacquiao, nor do I feel any animosity toward Pacquiao for this fight or just personally. He is a stand up guy who has the opportunity to do something good for a poor oppressed people. He had an opportunity to further set a record and achieved the goal and probably never will fighters and titles ever align them self’s in such a neat manner again to pull something like this off again. All this hype brings more attention to boxing, which brings more money, which brings great fights.

So I am glad Pacquiao is in boxing. just like ufc had its early days of those simply skilled fighter that went in the ring and just punched with reckless abandon. The unsophisticated/casual fans bought it and made it what it is today. Pacquiao dose the same for boxing, you don't really have to know about boxing to appreciate Pacquiao fights. He is sort of like the Michael bay of boxing, he has some great "that was cool” moment's and lots of explosions. But ultimately Pacquiao’s fights are the same, place manny in fornt of a Mexican or Mexican type fighter let them have a rocky moment, repeat.

Whereas Floyd Mayweahter (let the hate begin) is more like Christopher Nolan. He is sophisticated, psychological, deep and inventive/reinventive, much like Christopher Nolan’s movies Inception and soon to be trilogy of Batmans. Floyd is not often understood by the casual fan who can't see things like timing, distance, patience, deceptiveness, accuracy, awareness, relaxation, footwork, balance, the 6th sense to know when a punch is coming, and the ability to control your own emotions, etc. His fights are all different, they all end the same (41-0) but the journey from bell to bell is different and his fights, like a good Christopher Nolan movie is often left open to interpretation of the viewer.

I think the only question that got answer out of this margaritas Pacquiao fight was if margaritas hands where loaded or not for the Cotto fight. And judging buy Pacquiao face imo I believe without any doubts that they where.

This fight vs Margarito was 100x more of a challange to PAC compared to FLoyd fighting Mosley off 2 years and at 39 years old + paying JMM 600k to have his 2lb advantage and make JMM come to a weight he never once fought at in his life for the most ridiculous tune up bout ever.
You are a clown. Welcome back.

But even Christopher Nolan spends more time in a calendar year making films than Floyd does fighting fights....
