Look, I knew Hopkins would beat him. I said so to everyone here, even bet on it. Hopkins, style wise, had the tools to limt Winky and counter him silly. Anyone who knows boxing on an intellectual basis knew he would take this fight.

But Winky showed heart and valor. No excuses, but Winky is not a light heavy. He gave Bhop fits because he is a truly a great fighter, but he would never beat Hopkins. Style wise, Bhop has his number, and he is much too big. Even at 160, Hopkins was massive, and he would always dwarf Winky.

But I give credit to Winky, one of my favorite fighters. He stepped up to face a legend tonight, two classes above where he should be. He did it for the leagcy, the title, the money, and his fans. Winky is still HOF material, and I hope he does fight Oscar, because that is a great fight, and he deserves the payday. He can also beat Oscar.

My Bhop fandom does not blind me to how special Winky really is. Who else has beaten the **** out of Mosley, Tito, Ike Quartey, and Jermaine taylor?

I come here to praise him!!!:happy :happy :happy :happy :happy

Never have bashed him, I rated him well when others didn't. Hopkins was the right call to make, +165 odds for Hopkins were ridiculously inviting as well.

Winky fought gamely, but 170 is out of his element. Hop's was stronger, more effective and seemed in better condition even at the age of 42.

I'm a fan of both men and Wink has nothing to be ashamed of. He lost a close fight, 117-111??? That **** is RIDICULOUS, it was definitely closer but the nod still goes to B-Hop.

Great fighter, but he was fighting outside his weightclass, that wasnt the Wink we're use to even at his age. The weight did him in.

Bhop beat him like I thought he would, but I'd favor Winky over anyone below 160 pounds, and probably everyone except Kelly Pavlik at middleweight. Although I think Winky could beat Pavlik, I just wouldn't favor him to do it.

    For what? Losing?

Winky did his best unfortunately Bhops has the style to beat his style. He earned good money for it so he is pretty well compensated.

. . . but I did bashed him before for refusing a rematch with Taylor.

Whiny is a *****. Hopkins ocmpletely flustered and took him out of his game like no one has even done before. the master boxerf was flailing around and complaining to the ref the entire fight. i doubt Winky will get very many big fights going forward.
