No because he fought "dangerous man " Manfredo instead of the german guy you was his number one challenger.
For ****s sake, if there was a pic of Bute wearing a title that he was stripped of and Calzaghe eventually won it, people here would lose there **** in record numbers.
For **** sake, it's only a picture!! He's the champ. Bute is a title holder. That's all there is to it.
Bute is the champ...Calzaghe is a title holder until he agree to fight his number contender...not "dangerous man" Manfredo...
He never lost it so technically it's his, he's the undisputed champion and official top Super Middleweight after his last bout so whether he has this belt or not doesn't matter.
Let him carry on, I find hilarity in his defiance. On a more serious note people need to see, and judging by the posts I think most do, whats important here. Fighters will by necessity win alphabet titles & may even unify them but I don't see holding four belts as a sustainable situation. If & when one of the heavies, most likely Wlad, cleans up the division theres no way I can see him holding onto all of them & fulfilling his mandatories. To do that he'd have to fight nothing but mandatories & be fighting three or four times a year. The important thing will be that he did at one time hold them & he will be recognised as the true champ & the ones that strip him will lose credibility. I dread to think who the WBO would try & chuck at him.
