Deontay Wilder constantly talks about unifying, but what has he really done to become a unified champion?

He could of fought Wlad when he won his WBC. But as we know Shelly Finkel said he wasnt ready (after 33 fights)

When/After AJ fought Wlad, Wilder could have fought Parker. But again, Parkers name was barely mentioned from team Wilder.

Now AJ is closing in on 3 belts, Wilder is saying all he wants is the belts. WRONG, he is waiting for AJ to collect all the belts 1 by 1 and then wants 1 fight for undisputed for a massive payday.

If Parker beats AJ will DW even fight him as there is no money in that fight, even for Undisputed.

Is he really about the belts or does he just want that money fight with AJ? - Win or Lose.

It's been very obvious from day dot that he was only in the game for money. Nothing wrong with that in itself IMO - it was his pathetic run as wbc champ and murder victims row he took to get there that was the problem.

He wants the money, belts would be just a bonus.

Is that why he fought Ortiz for less money than he would have made fighting Whyte. Wilder must also have told his number 1 contenders of the past 2 years to test positive for barned substances. Very objective on your part there partner I really must say.

It was a calculated risk on his part. He - like a lot of the division tbf - didn't want any part of Ortiz a few years back but he'd seen him slip. He'd seen him age and thought the time was right to get him. And he was right. It was still a top win but he's got more credit than he deserves - outside of these boards anyway - for it and greatly strengthened his hand with Joshua in future negotiations.

You could argue that he fought Ortiz as he could control the judges easier in that fight.

Scorecards were worse than GGG v Canelo as all 3 were completely wrong.

He’s all about the money which is his right. Earn a living first. He was never about legacy or trying to end up in discussions for all time great status. That’s why he fought 33 nobodies and defended against 6 nobodies. At 33 years old he’s in it for the paycheck. Aj, Parker they are doing the heavy legacy lifting.

Only when it comes to choking hookers, beating up mental patients and attacking a man in front of his wife and kids with his entourage.
