    He still throws that lead right and counter right faster than almost everyone in or around his division.

    Remember timing is more important than speed.

    Calzaghe beats Hopkins. Calzaghe would have beaten any version of Hopkins.

    Calzaghe has the speed to get in and out before Hop can do any damage.


    Of course Bernard would make it as dirty as possible.

    Hopkins 1997-2002 punishes Calz, wears him down and KO's him in the latter rounds. I would bet everything I own on that.

    Hopkins' record against lefties is 100%. Why would Calzaghe be any different? If anything, he's more hittable because he opens up more which is perfect for a fighter like Hops.

    Hops = :happy
