omg, why do you even watch boxing?

Clean Hard Punches is one of the 4 scoring criteria you simple boy. Do you think the judges have a meter to measure the punches? No, they have eyes just like the rest of us, and it was clear which fighter landed cleaner and committed to his punches more. Unbelievable this needs to be explained to someone with over a decade of posting on a boxing message board. lol

I'm actually looking forward to the rematch. I think it may play out like Pac-JMM 4 where each fighter will be taking a lot more risks in an attempt to get rid of the other one once and for all. I can totally see each fighter committing more to their punches and hurting each other with one of them landing something HUGE to finish the fight.

Clean, maybe. But harder? Give it a rest. If canelo's punches were so much harder, they'd have more an impact on 3G. You got your convenient excuse as to why you think Canelo won, and a convenient excuse to EXCUSE his PED tests. how convenient for you...

They did have an impact on Golovkin, did you see how red his face became? Did you see how much harder he started breathing after receiving those punches? Golovkin undoubtedly has an incredible chin, and was able to absorb those punches and keep coming forward. The sturdiness of one's chin is what determines how much a fighter is impacted by a hard punch.

3g's punches also had an impact, but for some reason you try to say Canelo's packpeddling was his idea to lure 3g. You're too full of your own BS Shadow. 3G made canelo fight like he's never had to before.

I'm not going to look at a small instance where 3G breathed harder to you. They aren't robots, they have moments where they are more tiresome only to come back right after.

Isal is one easily bought by flash. Should be expected from one who whorshipped ODLH first, now this golden child. Isal is a sucker for Mexican cash cows (So long as the cow has tainted beef)

Sorry Lance Canelo was on the ropes cause he wanted to be there, obviously I’m being sarcastic but doesn’t this show the lengths his fan boys will go to just justify stuff re their hero?

Next thing you know, "Canelo was punching 3G's gloves with his face because he wanted to!"

I've never seen a fighter aim for that spot, there really was no let up even when you had your guard up with him. He messed Murray up with that shot

Golovkin was walking into punches because he was coming forward. The impact of a punch is increased when you are moving toward the punch. Canelo wasn't hit by as many big punches because he was backpeddling and thus negating the impact. He was using his upper body movement and head movement to slip punches more than Golovkin. Golvokin wasn't utilizing the amount of head movement and upper body movement that Canelo was, so he was taking more punches flush. Also Canelo has faster hands than Golovkin, better punch accuracy, and better counter punching ability so all these things add up to Golovkin taking more "bigger harder punches" than Canelo did. Trying to deny that this happened is silly.

Both men have their strengths and advantages. Golovkin has a higher work rate, Canelo is better at landing flush, hard, eye-catching flashy shots. That doesn't mean Golovkin doesn't hit hard, he does, he just didn't land the amount of impactful, impressive hard punches Canelo did. It's nothing to be upset about, there's no use in denying what happened in September.

When has Golovkin ever been knocked out or dropped?
