Maidana has underrated boxing skill, he can jab and set his punches up, you don't do well in amateur boxing if you don't have any boxing skills.

His jab is better than alexander's

At 140 over 12 - Maidana easy - TKO11

But it is yet to be seen who adapts to 147 better, I don't think maidana will carry his power and alexander has a very good chin. Who ever adapts to 147 is going to win. 10 rounds heavily favour Alexander as Maidana likes to wear down his opponents

 

Maidana doesn't seem to take seriously the fights against the oldies.

Look after Corley, Khan barely escaped victorious when no one expected Maidana to make his damage late (virtually everyone picked him to win early).

With Morales was more of the same, expect a good Maidana against Devon.

Against Ortiz I'll pick Maidana because hasn't really improved from that loss, he still can't fight backwards and Maidana will catch him like he did the last time.

And I won't be surprised if Alexander wins, he's got the tools to win. I'm a fan of Maidana which makes me pick him but he'll have to work very hard if he wants to win.

this fight is going to be unfair. the ring better not be huge, the ref better not be picking on maidana, scoring better be legit and judges better not be from st louis . im worried for boxing come this fight night, i got maidana back hes going agaisnt all odds. most likely maidana will not win. the best man doesnt always win. maidana has to knock him out but its going to be hard to in a 10 round fight and devon is going to be on the run with pitty pat one twos
