He's one of the rare guys to go the distance with Cotto, he is not overrated. Hatton couldn't last 6 rounds with Cotto.

 

hatton either has or had the ability to **** him up, i'm leading towards had these days due to his liking of the good life. he should win anyway but i'd love to have the old hitman back for one more fight.if hatton can turn back the clock paulie is in for a very painful experience.

 

Going 12 rounds with Cotto doen't mean **** except that he can take a beating(let's also not forget that Cotto was weight drained and couldn't go all out in that fight. Paulie never sees the final bell at 147 against Cotto.) The only reason Urkal didn't go 12 was because his corner got frustrated with the ref and threw in the towel. Tell me, what does Paulie excel at in the ring besides throwing that jab?

Going 12 rounds against Cotto doesn't mean a thing? It means a lot. In fact, its such scary thing that Mosley, who is my favorite, wouldn't want to do it again. PBF doesn't want to do it. But, of course you'll tell me PBF would easily do it and take Cotto to an easy UD. Paulie is very good at fighting at angles. He is slick. His last fight wasn't his best no doubt, but he didn't need his best to win. He will need his best against Hatton in england, and I bet he will do it.

 

Paulie won't hurt Hatton, he'll land just enough punches with his feather fists to win a UD. My opinion, of course.

I don't know if the fight would be easy but I know Floyd wouldn't get stopped. I think you overrate Cotto's power. Who has he stopped that has a good chin?

If he's so good at fighting at angles and is so slick, why does he get hit so much? Why are guys able to tag him with wide, looping punches without even working their way in with the jab?

Big reg, its obvious we don't see eye to eye on anything. After the Cotto-Mosley fight, he said he didn't want to ever have a rematch with Cotto. I bought the PPV. I think it was more of a compliment for Cotto, and I know Mosley could do it again. Paulie does get hit, but that is only when he abandons his plan and wants to get in a brawl with guys. He should stick with his game plan, and take everyone to school. Big Reg, I am certain not only will Paulie win, but Hatton will get hit by a shot he doesn't see and he will go down. He will get up, but Hatton will hit the floor once.

 

He's one pro boxer I definetly wouldn't be worried about encountering in the street. By the time he puts his extensions to the side he wouldn't have a chance to show his "boxing wizadry". One takedown of his frail frame and some punches and he'd be done.
