you do realize khan actually outboxed peterson right ? everybody who scored the fight had khan winning minus the point deductions. so without the losses of points he wouldve officially won. i believe khan isnt as good as he or his team thinks though definatley needs to learn some inside game

I think people are bit harsh with his post fight comments. He did go to the guys backyard, with his opponents referee. The guy was champion and made a tough fight tougher by accepting those conditions. He deserves some credit for that. As for his bitterness post fight it's acceptable, considering that last point for pushing changed the fight outcome.

At least he gave an interview despite that and didn't run off like others have done after being beaten or being done by the hometown.

Also, when compared to lamont most would look classless. That guy is something special when it comes to personality. Great guy and was honest enough to admit the pushing wasn't much of an issue.

 it wasn't the ref constantly running pushing and holding.

Khan lost. Deal with it and stop crying. You sore loser.

    New champ Lamont Peterson:hi:

He was right to take a point away from Khan... the second point just evens up the BS knockdown so it's all good

if he didnt outbox him how would he of won a decisions on virtually everybody's card ? the point deductions cost him the fight and they were stupid

No he wouldn't have. He actually would have gotten a draw if he didn't have the 2nd deduction, which balanced out the terrible knockdown call. So what are you talking about? Also Lamont won more rounds with his body work and occasional transitions upstairs than most of Khan's arm flurries which were caught on the arms.

He "warned" him maybe three times.

    - And they weren't really warnings. A warning is "Don't keep doing that or I'll deduct a point, even though no ref has ever done so in the last ten years."

    - So the ref actually NEVER warned Kahn.

Dude...he warned him no less than 4 times, maybe 5, before taking a point...I don't get the "he should have warned him" argument, did you watch the fight?
