He dethroned “a” champion. Let’s see him handle Charlo or at least Fundora, which I’m not saying he doesn’t, but one of those is the actual champion in the division depending on how you see Charlo’s payday fight.
Cement feet? Canelo was able to catch everyone in the ropes in his fights. Rights landed on Trout, uppercut busted Lara, and pretty much the entire 168 opponents were on the back foot the entire fight. Bivol being exception. Where did the myth of Canelo having slow feet come from?
Dumb is an aggressive reply. Fact. When you bring facts, its fine, when you bring aggressiveness, it's dumb. Try to calm down and keep your emotions
Madrimov is certainly a very different fighter to Canelo and much more unorthodox which I think was Buds main issue, but the way he was getting hit still worries me. His defense has always been a little leaky and now he seems even worse defensively than in previous years.
Lol, you are funny. What is my take on the fight? I never mentioned it here. And I favor Canelo if you ask me
I'll say this, Madrimov is a better fighter than what I thought but, he didn't let his hands go and throw nearly enough punches to win that fight. As others have mentioned 154 may be Bud's ceiling add to the fact he'll probably be 38 his next fight and he has no business even thinking about fighting at 168 pounds. While he has the skill In my opinion he'd be physically overmatched. Boots Ennis at 154 would be one I'd pay to see,,,,
I’m not convinced he beats Jermell Charlo at 154. It’s some shots that Madrimov hit him with that if it was Charlo he’s going down. I would like for him to attempt undisputed in this division as it would be more competitive for him honestly.
