Prime Mell was too big for Crawford. Idk why people thought it was a foregone conclusion that Crawford would just beat him.

Benavidez jr wasn't too big for Crawford he's the same size. Charlo isn't smart enough. What's he gonna do when he's getting outboxed ? Walk Crawford down ? We all know how that's gonna go

This is silly. Even if you aren't a fan of Canelo, to try to diminish a skill set like his is being intellectually dishonest.

7th round, left uppercut to left eye if I remember correctly. Busted eye, blood spurt immediately

 

Canelo landed 6 punches in that entire fight if I remember correctly

 

The only ones that mattered in a boring fight, but got the job done. One bled the other didn’t

 

They said Crawford has no chance vs Prescott. Too inexperienced.
Said he had no chance vs Gamboa. Speed and skill gap.
Said he had no chance vs Porter. Pressure will get to him, never experience a dog like Shawn.
Said he had no chance vs Spence. Called him "chiny"....would eventually crumble from body shots....

After each of these fights, excuses and discrediting occurs because they see how Crawford handles each fighter. I'm not saying Crawford beats Canelo.....but claiming arguably one of the best boxing IQ's in boxing history has no chance vs a man who has lost twice because he couldn't make an adjustment either to what wasn't working or what the opponent was doing, is pretty ignorant.

That being said..... I would much rather see Crawford in the ring vs Vergil Ortiz, Charlo, and whoever wins out of Fundora/Spence, just so he cleans up another division. And now a division many claim he has no place in. Hell, they claim he wasn't a real welterweight.
