Pac got where he is right now by defeating the kinds of Barrera,Morales,David Diaz,JMM,ODLH,Hatton,Cotto,Clotey.
Who the hell Valero ever beat?oh yeah he won by KO all his fights but...fighting who?
Valero-besides being a despicable human being-was just a brawler with no tools to get in the ring against someone like Pac...i dont think they would have ever met, Valero wouldnt never walked thru Bradley,Maidana,or even Amir Khan.

Both tried to make exciting fights, though.

    Never mind the skill level.

That's what a lot of paying fans want. A fire fight.

I just find it interesting that with the exception of Barrera, JMM(debatable win/s) and Diaz, EVERY person on that list lost a fight directly before, in the vicinity of, or just had a very sorry performance directly before fighting Pacquiao(Morales, ODLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey).

Call me a *******, but I honestly believe Pacquiao would have pole-axed Valero in less than 3 rounds. Everyone though Pacquiao-Hatton was gonna be competitive, and look how that one turned out. If Pacquiao knocked Valero out in the 1st, I wouldn't have been surprised.

It doesn't make you a *******. Valero was a very raw fighter who had a ways to go before being able to compete at the top level. Pac would have made easy work out of him.

Nah, he should have just fought guys when they were at their best, not fresh off of defeat or clearly past their best. But Roach knew what he was doing. Fact is fact.

Valero was an all action south paw with a fierce left hand thus there will always be comparisons to Pac. The similarities however all but dry up there after.

If he spazzes the **** out in a homicidal roid rage and kills his girl then hangs him self from a banana tree. . then can we compare him to Valero?

It's just that so many people on here thinks the fight would have been competitive, I assumed that me saying it wouldn't have been the LEAST bit competitive would lead to people calling me a "*******".

Valero wouldn't have landed a single meaningful punch, and would have gotten flattened even quicker than Hatton, and wouldn't have even landed as many times as Hatton did against Pac.
