Don't cry about the controversial decision tonight (Hopkins-Calzaghe)

The close decision in this fight would go to Joe. It won't be close though.

 

I was thinking quite the same thing today.

Let's hope it will not be ANOTHER duspited decisionatsch , but a clear one or a KO.

 

Right on the money.

I thought it was a disappointing peformance from both fighters. Joe was unimpressive in the quality of his punches, Hopkins failed to take advantage of the knockdown in the 1st round and after almost knocking Joe down again at the end of the 7th.

 

Last week I had Calzaghe by SD, but changed it to Hopkins by TKO.. son of a *****..

Calzaghe win easyly this fight.

 

I knew he was going to get knocked down once, he had to, he leaves himself open sometimes and hopkins is a very accurate puncher who has the strength to knock calzaghe down but calzaghe ALLWAYS gets back up and the high volume of punches he throws would let him steal a lot of the rounds. I felt hopkins had a better performance but calzaghe JUST about did enough to steal enough rounds to get the SD.
