the thing was pac cried after the announcement of winner when he got a head butt ;)

after that he moved on with his life and sent em kissing the canvass a couple of times and into retirement.

jmm is different. he has to go to the philippines and cry. that is a Manly unbecoming

If you lost the fight, you pretty much got owned. Marquez has the "L" on his record. Now he has ZERO wins over pac.

    Owned.

I agree with Pac on this one, through and through. He simply can't be criticized for not fighting Marquez or any other fighter, he has fought everyone. With Marquez, he has fought him twice and is willing to fight him again. I'm sure of that. There is nothing wrong with him fighting someone else now and coming back to the rematch in a few fights.

JMM is looking silly with this campaigning. He should go fight another big name at 130lbs and give a dominant performance. Then call out Pac at meet at 135lbs. I though JMM won the second fight but I'm not down with the traveling whining fair he is doing in the Philipines. It doesn't reflect well on him IMO.

Was'nt it Pac who cried just when they announced the decision in his favor????:deal

    Literally, Pac stop crying, you're a fighter!

Oh, thats right....the monumental shock suprise from the gift Pac got on the 15th was too much for him to bare, that he had to literally cry up a storm!
    Ahhhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhh!:| :| :|

I dont think JMM is down with it either.....he's never been one to demand anything throughout his career.....and where did it get him?
His merits in the ring certainly did'nt get him any big fights.

Its exactly what JMM is doing now that got him a rematch with Pac to begin with.
Pac was set to announce that he was fighting Diaz way back months ago, when JMM came out and laid it on the line saying he'd fight Pac for much less money, and he'd fight him at 135 lbs if thats where Pac wanted the fight at.
Even Pacland was in a frenzy demanding the fight back then!

.....and after there past fight got over 500k PPV buys, Marquez has already announced he'd concede to Pac's reasonable demands.

The only bigger fights out there for Pac are Hatton or DLH....why the hell is he waisting his time with David Diaz?

Btw, for me, I'd prefer to see JMM fight Guzman, Valero, or one of the legit lightweight champions out there in either Campbell or Casamayor.

If JMM fights and beats either Campbell or Casamayor, my opinion is that a third match with Pac wont come to fruition.
.....Pac by virtue of his gift decision against JMM, has the financial bargaining power at this point......but if JMM beats either Campbell or Casamayor, or even if he beats Guzman or Valero, that tilts the financial scale for a third fight between JMM and Pac back somewhere closer to even money.

......then, the Pac-David Diaz fight is likely to be a bust on PPV.
That will even further bring Pac down from his mantle where he cries that he's the money maker and he's the fighter people want to see.

We will see what happens, but I just dont see where win or lose the David Diaz fight is going to help Pac at the bargaining table vs any big fight opponent.

Btw, does anybody know if JC Chavez Jr. will be on the undercard of Pac's fight with Diaz?
Chavez Jr. may turn out to be Pac's savior!:deal

Divac I maintain that the best way for him to get his rematch is to go kick someones ass, and call Pac out in the post fight conference.

Having him parade around and complain does nothing for me. The fight was too close to be going on about this forever. I just don't like him representing himself like that, I think he should be a proud warrior and just go back to doing what he does- training and fighting. I like JMM, I don't like seeing him look like this, to me it looks like desperation. He doesn't need Pac right now, he should put a few more scalps on his record- Guzman or Valero sound perfect right about now.

It does nothing for you or me, but unfortunately this is exactly what stirs up interest that people in forums like these talk about it.

You and I both know ABC, and it this way in any sport......you make up a stink, and you will get noticed.

Not only does JMM want an official W on his record against Pac, but its also the biggest payday for both fighters.

JMM is stirring up interest in Pac's own backyard.....the man from accounts I've heard was cheered everytime the video cam was put to him during last saturdays fights......

Pac may not take the fight, but there is no question that JMM's antics are working and putting pressure on Pac to accept a third match.

I'm sure that JMM and Pac will fight again. But it's better for now that they go their separate ways FOR THE MEANTIME and fight someone else. Let them win some more fights to make their fight a little more interesting. JMM can fight Campbell which will put him in equal footing with Pacquiao as a champion at 135lbs (assuming that they both win their fight). Then their 3rd fight will also have a championship belt at stake.
