Don't fence it. Do you reckon Mayweather took PEDs in his career?

It's obvious he's on the roids, and been for a long time.

The signs are all there, only a fanboy would deny it.

It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't claim to be the role model for clean athletes in the sport

100% yes there's only one reason a boxer that knows full well using an IV is banned and why it's banned has been caught using one.

He simply wouldn't have done the drip if he wasn't hiding something / end of.

    Yes.

But realistically 99% of top athletes have taken PEDs.

Why would floyd risk his entire legacy by using something he knows is illegal ? the only explanation is blood doping. There simply isn't any possible other explanation.

Every top boxer and every top athlete in the world is on juice. It's super easy to not get caught. Cycling isn't a special sport where only juicers partake, they just overdo it completely, hence why it's more high profile in terms of doping. But every top athlete in the world is on it. From Floyd to Manny to Lebron to Kobe to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady to Messi and Ronaldo to Nadal and Serena Williams etc etc.

He did imo but i have no evidence.i think personally in britain in the 70s,80s, and 90s steroid use was rampant especially at 154-175

    That's all true.

The other thing to remember about cycling is they had to take their drugs during the event too, because the Tour de France last 3 weeks (21 full days of cycling) and they deplete themselves tremendously in that time.
    And they work in teams.
That's probably why the 'culture' of PED use in cycling became such an issue, it was just too obvious and everyone knew what everyone else was doing exactly. Everyone had the knowledge on their team mates and a lot of distrust and politics came into it.

In a sport like boxing, it's easier to retain some secrecy and mystery. Hence you get all these boxers accusing each other and trying to psyche each other out by pretending they are actually clean.
    Mayweather being the best example.

tbf to Floyd, he relies on accuracy and avoiding punches, he's not throwing 1000 punches a fight or miraculously obtaining power from somewhere. I actually think he may be clean, he may have had an injection or two to speed up an injury though.

Yeah things like EPO have a life cycle in the body of only a few hours so it was crazy...it was like Maths calculating the time they'd need to stay clear of testers in order for it to leave their system. If cyclists can get away with it in such a polished operation, considering cycling isn't a rich sport by any means (top guys barely get 1million a year in wages), what's stopping multi million and in fact billion dollar sports getting involved and not getting caught

Yeah, we'll never know the full extent and sophistication of the doping programmes of 'billion dollar' athletes.
Nor can we truly imagine what the depth of the corruption is.

It's not even in the interests of doping agencies to clean up sports, because if they did that they'd have to downsize and most of them would be out of a job !

I imagine the best highest-paid athletes have employed men who know everything the testers know ... and more !
