Vitali wasn't able to do anything to Charr towards the end of the fourth before the convenient stoppage. Charr was coming on strong and pushing an increasingly lethargic Vitali onto the backfoot. So yeah, he was definitely raising his game there.

Povetkin beat his ass I agree.

He is a terrible fighter. Fighter isn't the word used to describe him.

Could probably better assert his pressure game if he lost a little weight. Always been a bit soft .

Plus he should have a loss against Zack Page, which no one ever mentions.

Forget Charr, Haye ducked Fury, Vitali, Povetkin, and practically everybody else in the division.

It is a standard ploy of a fighter's detractors to attempt to create scenarios where that fighter 'can't win.'

I'm sure it would feature prominently in Boxing Haters 101.

Oh come on, that was a masterclass by VK! He won every second of that fight, Outlanded him in each round, matrixed Charr hysterically at the end of the first, outlanded him in each round, kd'd him in the 2nd, split his face open in the forth, with the fight stopped in the same. I gave Charr two rounds against Povetkin, whom he lasted much longer against.

Has anyone actually got a reliable source for Charr having been elevated to WBA Interim Champion?

Or is mention of it in this thread just the blind leading the blind?

He dominated him, KD in rd 2, sliced up his face and stopped him in 4. I think you fell for all of his post-fight bravado....too little too late.

I really dont get the venom some people insist on chucking his way. It's crazy to me.

I would love to see him starch a couple of big names before he's done, if only to exacerbate the ulcers some people have been cultivating on the back of their hatred for him.
