Chevere chevere. Either weight Lara by Tko or Ud. 154-160 Lara is a threat to anyone.

Erislandy Lara, currently the most overated fighter imo...he has absolutely no one on his resume besides a Paul Williams who's arguably seen his best days past him, should he have gotten the win maybe but its officially a loss because of his very low workrate, he also drew with Molina in a fight he should have loss, I guess what goes around comes around...

Lara has less than twenty fights, there's nothing spectacular about him, never been champion & has a mediocre resume, I'm always hearing no one wants to fight, why? He isn't a devastating puncher, doesn't have a spoiler type style and its not like he's looked spectacular beating an elite fighter, where is Lara claim to being so highly ranked, he's a decent fighter but that's it, I wouldn't be surprised if Ronald upset him Friday...

Darn, only two gross mismatches instead of a whole tripleheader of them. :p

Ummm, yea that has nothing to do with the point I'm making, James will never be a p4p fighter, too many flaws, but I like his tenacity, aggressive, heart, power and will to win, I'm not the type of fan to jump off the bandwagon because a fighter lost, Paul Williams is still a very viable opponent but I feel he has reached a point where he needs a new trainee as well as a new outlook on boxing, namely defense, he fights one way only, never adjusts and is too stubborn to consider making adjustments, I blame Peterson, as far as Ishida, he was never any good to begin with, just one of those nights where things just happend, see Tyson v Douglas and Holyfield v Douglas...

Lara is a good fighter but has accomplished nothing to be deemed as avoided or ducked...

Im not sitting Lara at a p4p status, but he is been calling for a fight at 154 and nobody wants a piece of him.I call that at least ,avoiding.( ducking sounds bad)

Okay, who at the top of the 154lb division is avoiding him? It's not always the fighters choice whom they fight, Canelo? Cotto? Kirkland? Angulo? I'm sure they would all fight him but in the end its your promoter and advisors who advise you on what would be the best fights, Canelo is fight Shane because of his name, Cotto is fight Floyd because the name, the money and Floyd happens to be the p4p best...

Kirkland I'm sure would fight him in a heartbeat, don't know where Angulo's career is at this point but the point is, all these very capable 154lb fighters you think is avoiding Lara are somehow less courageous than Ronald Hearns, I don't think so, Lara hasn't proved anything in his career, doesn't have a title and isn't a draw, when he does get one of the top guys and look good at winning I'm sure doors will open up for him...

Also Clottey is at 154 needing a fight, that would be a good test for Lara and if he were to look good at winning it would propel him in the right direction...
